describe your project: This project builds on Noam Chomsky's generative grammars. While these grammars originally were devised to describe the structure of language, Chris Coyne extended them to describe design structure, in what he named Context Free Design Grammers. I took his idea and extended it to 3D. These systems are stochastic in their nature - you provide a description, a grammar, for them, and each time you run the system you get a new output. The images here demonstrate that this approach is able to generate an astonishing amount of diversity.
